Report on Navratri Celebration 2022

Festivals brought happiness, faith, devotion, and a sense of unity to everyone. So, Reet Club, Rai University organized Garba on the occasion of Navratri from 28th September to 30th September 2022. After completion of routine lectures students and faculty gather in the Garden opposite block B Rai University.

The celebration started by offering prayers and chanting Garba in chorus in front of the idol of Goddess Navdurga. Everyone was dressed in traditional dresses and groomed exquisitely. All the bright-colored fabrics made the event appealing. At sharp 3:30 PM, everyone started enjoying Garba on the beats of DJ Music. Everyone was deeply synced with the beats of the music and the steps of Garba. Every Day at 06:00 PM and on the last day up to 7:00 PM as per Rituals Aarti was started. The commemoration started by offering prayers to Goddess Navadurga, followed by lighting lamps. Various rituals like Puspanjali and Aarti were conducted with great devotion and fidelity.

The evaluation for the award of Best Garba step (Male/Female) & Best Traditional dress (Male/Female) was done by our respective juries Dr. Asish rami sir & Dr. Nita Solanki ma’am. On the evening of the last day before Aarti, the winners were awarded by Dr. Anil Tomar sir, Provost, rai University in the presence of Prof. Lalit Adhikari sir, Registrar, Rai University, Prof.(Dr.) C.P.Sharmaa, Director of Academics and accreditation Rai University, Prof. Virendra Singh Nagoria, COE, Rai University All Principals, Deans, HODs, and faculties.

On the last day, each and every devotee got the benefit to offer arti to Nava Durga as everyone had Diyas in hand during Aarti. Also, The Garba pots have been submitted to Temple at the end of the celebration as a part of ritue. Everyone appreciate this initiative and enjoyed the food.
