admin.careAn academic visit-2023 to Science City Carnival carnival at Gujarat science city, Ahmedabad was organized by Rai School of Sciences, Rai University on Friday, March 3, 2023. Thirty eight students from Rai School of Sciences and School of Pharmacy with two faculty member visited Gujarat science city, Ahmedabad. They interacted with the students and scientist to understand the exhibition of research and innovation of science and technology with novel approaches. During this visit, students were very eagerly waiting for listening to different exhibition stall at Vigyan Bhavan with higher authorities.
In the morning at 10:30 am we reached national science day science carnival at Gujarat science city, Ahmedabad. We registered all students for science city visit, after that we entered the exhibition room to see the exhibition from various department from all over the Gujarat, where we visited the exhibition of Indian plasma research (IPR), Rai University Ahmedabad, Hemchandaracharya North Gujarat University, Patna, PP Savani University, Surat and other for their research activity such as plasma research and its research and application tools for plasma research, DNA double helix structure, Mitosis and its compartment and so on. After that at 12:00 am we entered in the workshop Vigyan Bhavan where we attended the lecture of Mr Nagendra Vijay, who is writer and editor of the novel magazine called Safari. After completion of lecture, we entered in cafeteria at science city where students have taken their delicious lunch. After complication of lunch, we visited aquarium were students see different part of aquarium such as fish aquarium, and several other. After completion of aquarium we entered in robotics were we see different research related human robotics approach or several other learning machines related robotics, such as farming robotics, space robotics, medical robotics etc. Finally, at the last we visited earth exhibition at science city, were student acquired knowledge about disaster management, and several earth component which includes farming system on the different part of earth, several human made models which show the importance of earth and environment. After earth exhibition, our students has clicked pictures at the science city campus and then we left the place. We reached at university at about 6’oclock. Students enjoyed the visit and also grasped knowledge.
