An Awareness Session on “Fixing Ozone Layer and Reducing Climate Change” on 22nd Sep 2023
Rai University, Ahmedabad, organized an impactful Awareness Session titled “Fixing Ozone Layer and Reducing Climate Change” on September 22, 2023, under the collaborative efforts of Rai School of Sciences, Student Start-up and Innovation Policy (SSIP), and Innovation and Incubation Centre (IIC). The lecture, conducted offline by Ms. Jolly Patel, Assistant Professor at Rai School of Sciences, aimed to inform and inspire students and faculty members about the critical issues of ozone layer depletion and climate change. The session, held as part of the “Swachh Bharat Mission”, witnessed active participation, with 52 students and 20 faculty members in attendance.
Ms. Jolly Patel’s comprehensive presentation included statistics on the depleting ozone layer, emphasizing the need for pollution reduction and ozone layer protection. The collaborative effort under the “Swachh Bharat Mission” highlighted the university’s commitment to addressing environmental concerns.
