Report of Guest Lecture on Women Security: Trends and Challenges on 14th December, 2022.

Rai University organized Expert Session at Ahmedabad Management Association where International Guest Faculty of Rai University Ms. Bodil Valero (G-100, Global Chair-Security and Defence, Former Member, Swedish and European Parliament, Advisory Board Member and Visiting Professor-Rai University,) deliberated on sustainable goals highlighting Gender Equality. The event commenced with Prof. Mayank Vyas briefing the audience about the need for Women Security and introducing the dignitaries on the dais Ms. Bodil Valero, Prof (Dr.) Anil Tomar, Provost and Prof. Lalit Adhikari, Registrar, Rai University.

Ms. Bodil Valero shared innumerable examples of how country can change if both the gender are assured equal treatment. She deliberated on Rural Women empowerment by highlighting the change brought about in many countries. The key to women empowerment is economic independence and unconditional family support.

After the lecture audience were given, time to interact. Audience felt that the session was informative and interactive. Dr. Swati Rajgor, Assistant Professor, Rai University thanked the Speaker, Dignitaries on the dais/off the dais, delegates and audience for their valuable time and patient hearing. She also thanked the delegates on both the sides for coordinating and making this event possible.
