Business Plan Presentation & Quiz on World Population Day on August 21, 2023
Rai University On August 21, 2023, Rai School of Management Studies at Rai University orchestrated a remarkable Entrepreneur Business Plan and Quiz event. This collaborative endeavor brought together esteemed associations including IIS, SSIP, Evolve, ISTE and under the G20 Presidential Year. The focal point of the event was the Business Plan Presentation competition, which showcased the ingenuity and strategic acumen of budding entrepreneurs. As participants unveiled meticulously crafted business plans, seasoned observers provided insightful feedback, refining these innovative concepts. The event's primary objective was to augment participants' comprehension of business planning while nurturing their potential as future entrepreneurs.
The competition featured 8 teams presenting diverse business ideas spanning food outlets, sports, rental vehicles, hair care, pharmaceuticals, security services, LGBTQ welfare, and more. Among them, the "Rainbow App" team comprising Ms. Aditi Shukla and Ms. Khushi Khoja, First Year BBA students, stood out. Their distinctive proposal centered on empowering the LGBTQ community through meaningful employment opportunities. Their presentation resonated with the judges, securing them a well-deserved victory. The team's profound grasp of community needs and preferences laid a strong foundation for their promising business startup concept.
Simultaneously, the Business Quiz engaged college students with a variety of thought-provoking questions, eliciting fervent participation. This segment not only elevated business knowledge but also complemented academic learning. A total of 25 students across different departments of Rai University participated, and Mr. Parmeet Kapoor, a B Tech student from Rai School of Engineering, clinched the top position. His expertise in commerce and industry shone brightly.
In commemoration of World Entrepreneurship Day, students from various departments partook in business plan presentations and the business quiz. These presentations underscored their entrepreneurial flair and a profit-oriented approach mindful of social responsibility. The quiz ignited a passion for business matters and nurtured their entrepreneurial zeal. It provided a competitive platform for aspiring businesspersons to assess their comprehension of commerce and industry within their respective domains.
Collectively, these competitions delivered invaluable insights into skill development, attitude shaping, and behavioral refinement through education, mentorship, and hands-on experience.
