Expert Session on World Population Day on 11th July 2023
Rai University recently organized an expert session on Importance of Population Issues for Better Future on a Healthy Planet" in honor of World Population Day, aiming to raise awareness about the challenges posed by population explosion. This event is organized with the association with SSIP, IIC, Swatchh Bharat Abahiyan, ISTE and under the presidential year of G-20. The event featured a keynote address by Dr. Dhanya J.S., an esteemed Assistant Professor from the renowned Rai School of Sciences at Rai University. With her vast expertise in the field, Dr. Dhanya addressed the audience, shedding light on the critical issues associated with the rapidly growing global population.
During her insightful speech, Dr. Dhanya emphasized the urgent need to tackle the population explosion and its far-reaching consequences. She elucidated the strain it puts on essential resources, including food, water, and energy, and the detrimental impact on the environment. Furthermore, she highlighted the socioeconomic implications of an overcrowded world, such as unemployment, poverty, and inequality.
