Extension Outreach Activity: “Innovative Methods to Sustainability with Mission LiFE” on 26th December 2024

Rai University, Ahmedabad, organized an impactful Extension Outreach Activity titled “Innovative Methods to Sustainability with Mission LiFE” on December 26, 2023. The event was conducted by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP), and Rai School of Sciences (RSS) at Mohammadi Convent High School, Dholka.

The objective of the Mission LiFE was to translate the ideas and ideals of LiFE into actionable, scientific, and measurable programs, showcasing India’s commitment to combat climate change. The event aimed to promote environmental awareness, encourage conservation practices, celebrate successes, foster stewardship, and advocate for sustainable living.

With a theme centered around “Innovative Methods to Sustainability with Mission LiFE,” the event saw active participation from 50 students and 3 faculty members. The venue, Mohammadi Convent High School, Dholka, provided an apt setting for the activities, which took place from 3:15 pm to 4:45 pm.

The day featured insightful presentations and interactive sessions led by the distinguished speaker, Dr. Dhanya J. S. Her engaging style captivated the audience, offering valuable insights into integrating Mission LiFE themes into daily routines. The workshop emphasized lifestyle modifications for sustainable development, incorporating the principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle.

Participants actively engaged in discussions, exploring practical approaches to environmental conservation. The coordination team, led by dedicated duty bearers, ensured the seamless execution of various aspects of the event. Attendees appreciated the conducive learning environment, and Mr. Vardan Parmar delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks.

The success of the session was attributed to the collaborative efforts of the organizing team, the expertise of Dr. Dhanya, and the active participation of attendees. Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, praising the informative content, engaging format, and overall organization of the event.

“Innovative Methods to Sustainability with Mission LiFE” marks a crucial step in the battle against climate change, promoting a pro-planet lifestyle.
