Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration at Rai University on 7th September 2024

Rai University celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with vibrant festivities from September 7, 2024. The event began with the Sthapna of Lord Ganesha’s idol, where students, faculty, and staff gathered for a heartfelt Pooja and Aarti. These rituals invoked blessings for a prosperous academic year and fostered a spirit of community. Daily morning and afternoon Aartis were held, accompanied by the distribution of Prasad, offering participants a serene break from their academic routines.

The celebration culminated in a grand Visarjan ceremony. The final day featured a Satyanarayan Katha, recounting the virtues of Lord Vishnu, followed by a powerful Maha Aarti that united the entire university in prayer. A special 56 Bhog was prepared and shared during a communal lunch, symbolizing gratitude and togetherness.

The festivities included joyous dance performances that filled the atmosphere with happiness and devotion. The event concluded with the heartfelt Visarjan of Lord Ganesha's idol, where participants bid farewell to the deity with promises to welcome Him back next year. This celebration not only enriched the university's cultural landscape but also strengthened the bonds within the community
