Objective:
“The objective of this guest lecture is to provide insights into the early stages of entrepreneurship within the U.S. healthcare landscape, with a particular focus on career pathways for Indian pharmacy graduates. Attendees will gain an understanding of the opportunities and challenges faced by aspiring entrepreneurs in the healthcare sector, as well as strategies for leveraging their pharmacy background to navigate and succeed in the U.S. market”.
Introduction:
The pharmaceutical industry offers a myriad of career opportunities for Indian pharmacy graduates. This guest lecture aims to explore the various pathways available, from clinical roles in hospitals and community pharmacies to positions in pharmaceutical companies, regulatory affairs, research and development, and academia. The guest lecture, organized by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Student Startup Innovation Policy (SSIP), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the School of Pharmacy (SOP), provided a platform for insightful discussions and collaborations.
