Report on Hospital Visit in Apollo Hospital International Limited

A Hospital Visit-2022 to Apollo hospital international limited, plot No, 1A, Gandhinagar was organized by Rai School of Sciences and School of Pharmacy, Rai University on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. 35 students in their first year, diploma in pharmacy and Life Science and two faculties visited Apollo hospital international limited. To interact with hospitals to understand different departments and processes of pharma industries with novel approaches. During this visit, students were very eagerly waiting for listening to the hospital’s higher authorities.

In the morning at 11:50 am we visited the Apollo hospital international limited. When we reached at the hospital, Hr personnel of the industry welcome us and drive us to the meeting room where we introduce our students to Dr. Nipul Kapadia (HOD - Pharmacy department) and he introduced himself and other members to the students. After that, they provide us with water, and then he introduced students to the various department of the hospital. After that, we divided our students into 2 batches of 17 students per batch for the visit and interaction with the hospital person. The Hr. personnel and HODs of different departments drove us to visit different departments like IP pharmacy, Operation theatre, Store department, Baby care area, Kidney transplant area, PAD area, etc. In all departments, departmental HODs have given us information regarding their respective department and how to connect this whole department work with IP pharmacy. After lunch, our students have clicked pictures at hospital and then we leave the place. We reached at university at about 5’oclock. Students enjoyed the visit and also grasped knowledge.
