Industrial Visit to “Hocco Industries Private Limited” in Bavla, Gujarat, on 02nd March 2024
On the 2nd of March 2024, Rai University, Ahmedabad, organized a comprehensive Industrial Visit to “Hocco Industries Private Limited” in Bavla, Gujarat, for 40 students and one faculty member from the Rai School of Management Studies. The event was conducted by the Industry Interaction Cell (IIC), SSIP, and Rai School of Management Studies at Rai University, Ahmedabad.
The objective of the visit was to provide students, primarily from BBA, MBA, and B.Com programs, with a first-hand experience and in-depth understanding of the operations, processes, and innovations within Hocco Industries Limited. The visit aimed to offer educational exposure, practical insights, and interaction with industry professionals, exposure to best practices, understanding corporate culture and environment, and inspiration for future career paths
Hocco Industries Limited, a prominent industrial company headquartered in Ahmedabad, founded by Ankit Chona in 1953, has been a significant player in the industry. The company’s commitment to excellence and cutting-edge practices has solidified its position in the market and contributed significantly to the overall progress of the industrial landscape.
During the visit, the participants were warmly welcomed by Mr. Hardiksinh Chauhan, HR Manager at Hocco Ice Cream, Bavla. The highlights of the visit included a production facility tour, showcasing the meticulous process of ice cream creation, and insights into the state-of-the-art machinery and quality assurance procedures. The visit also covered diverse aspects such as packaging, distribution, marketing, branding strategies, and the cooperative and community impact of Hocco Ice Cream.
