ISTE Inauguration and RAA Award on 27th May 2023

Rai University’s IQAC Cell organized the Inauguration ceremony of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and the Research and Academic Awards (RAA) in collaboration with the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) and the Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP) under the G-20 Presidential Year. The esteemed event graced by the presence of distinguished guests, Dr. Bhasker Bhatt, Honorable Secretary cum Treasurer of ISTE (Gujarat), and Dr. Narottam Sahoo, Advisor and Member Secretary of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat.

RAA Award ceremony was the platform to celebrate and recognize achievements in the fields of technical education, research, and innovation. The distinguished guests, Dr. Bhasker Bhatt and Dr. Narottam Sahoo, added prestige to the event with their presence and inspiring speeches. The ceremony acknowledged and honored the outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to research and academic excellence. The event marked a significant milestone for the university and further encouraged the pursuit of knowledge, innovation, and research among the academic

The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a worship ceremony conducted by the dignitaries. Provost Dr. Anil Tomar extended a warm welcome to the guests by presenting them with a plant as a token of appreciation. Both guests addressed the audience, sharing their insights and inaugurating the ISTE by unveiling the certificates. Dr. Bhasker Bhatt elaborated on the significance and purpose of ISTE, enlightening the audience with valuable information. Dr. Narottam Sahoo emphasized the importance of research work and delivered a speech highlighting its relevance.

The RAA Awards ceremony followed, honoring individuals who had demonstrated exceptional research excellence and innovation. Dr. Sailesh Iyer was awarded the Research Excellence Award and the Best Innovator Award. Dr. Ashish Rami, Dr. Sanjesh Rathi, Mr. Dhruv Trivedi, Dr. Pradeep Singh, Mr. Hardik Patel, Mr. Yashesh Darji, Ms. Poonam Chakravarty, Mr. Yuvrajsinh Rathod, and Dr. Kishan Patel received the Research Achiever Award. Additionally, Dr. Ashish Rami, Dr. Sailesh Iyer, and Dr. Pradeep Singh were recognized with the Academic Achievement Award.

After the distribution of awards, Dr. Sailesh Iyer expressed his gratitude through a heartfelt thank-you speech, acknowledging the recognition bestowed upon him and the other awardees. The event concluded with the provost presenting mementos to the esteemed guests, expressing appreciation for their presence and contribution to the occasion.
