Navotthan: Rejuvenation of Existing Processes at Rai University on 25th June 2024

On June 25, 2024, Rai University, specifically the Rai School of Management Studies, hosted an orientation program titled “Navotthan: The Rejuvenation of Existing Processes.” This event aimed to rejuvenate and enhance the university's existing processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in the curriculum.

The program took place in Seminar Room-A1/GF/07 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and was attended by students from BBA Semester 5, BBA Semester 3, and B.Com Semester 5. The day commenced with a warm welcome for the students, setting a positive tone for the event. This brief session was designed to make students feel valued and excited about the program.

Following the welcome, Dr. Sandip Chandra, Associate Dean of RSMS, delivered an inspiring address. His speech emphasized the importance of innovation and the need to rejuvenate existing processes, highlighting the university's commitment to continuous improvement. Dr. Chandra encouraged students to actively participate in these initiatives, fostering a culture of progress and innovation.

From 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, students had the opportunity to interact with their mentors. Dr. Maulik Rathod and Dr. Vinod Parghi engaged with BBA Semester 3 students, while Mr. Rakesh Chauhan interacted with BBA Semester 5 and B.Com Semester 5 students. This Mentor Meet aimed to build a strong support system, helping students navigate their academic journey effectively.

A Fun Time session from 11:30 AM to 12:10 PM featured interactive activities and games, allowing students to relax and bond with their peers. This balanced approach ensured an enjoyable experience, promoting camaraderie among the students.

The final session, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, focused on introducing the subjects for the upcoming academic term. Faculty members provided an overview of the curriculum, outlining key topics and learning objectives. This session was crucial for setting academic expectations and preparing students for the term ahead.

The “Navotthan” orientation program was a well-organized and impactful event that effectively combined motivational addresses, interactive sessions, and academic introductions. It laid the groundwork for a productive and engaging academic term, fostering a sense of community and enthusiasm among the students.
