RU Talk featuring Ms. Karen Duys as the Main Speaker on 31st July 2023
Rai University successfully organized a prestigious event, RU Talk, in association with Evolve Club, IIC, SSIp, and in conjunction with the Presidential Year of G20 on 31st July 2023. The event featured Ms. Karen Duys, an esteemed personality, as the main speaker. Ms. Duys is renowned for her diverse roles as the Founder and President of Eur India Foundation, Founder of Planet Hope Foundation, and as a Member of G-100 Global Chair and Advisory Board Member of Civil Society Organization in the Netherlands.
The event commenced with a warm welcome to Ms. Karen Duys, where she was greeted with a garland As a sign of respect and to seek blessings, she also visited the temple of Rai University.
The event officially began with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and wisdom. Prof. Dr. Anil Tomar, Provost of the university, cordially welcomed Ms. Duys with a potted plant, signifying growth and prosperity. Ms. Duys was then invited to interact with the students, a moment that was eagerly anticipated by the attendees.
During her speech, Ms. Karen Duys shared her life experiences, offering valuable insights into her journey as a successful entrepreneur and humanitarian. Dr. Sailesh Iyer, Dear Rai School Of Engineering, delivered the vote of thanks, acknowledging Ms. Karen Duys for taking time out from her busy schedule to share her knowledge and experiences with the students.
Following the RU Talk, the ambiance shifted to a more relaxed and joyful atmosphere, where Ms. Karen Duys joined the cultural dance. She even learned a few Garba steps with the enthusiastic students and faculty members, adding a delightful touch of cultural exchange to the event.
