Session on Innovation and Entrepreneurship on 10th March,2025

Objective:

• To create awareness about innovation and entrepreneurship opportunities among students and faculty members.

• To discuss AICTE and MoE initiatives aimed at fostering a culture of entrepreneurship in educational institutions.

• To promote equality and highlight the importance of eradicating discrimination.

• To highlight best practices and success stories in the field of innovation and startup ecosystem development.

About the Session:

The session was conducted by Prof. T. G. Sitharam, Chairman of AICTE, and Dr. Abhay Jere, Vice Chairman of AICTE & Chief Innovation Officer (CIO), Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. The discussion focused on the importance of innovation, entrepreneurial mindset, and the role of academic institutions in fostering a startup culture among students.

The speakers emphasized that India is emerging as a global leader in entrepreneurship, with numerous government initiatives supporting young innovators.
