World Pharmacist Day Celebration on 25th September 2023

On September 25, 2023, the School of Pharmacy at Rai University celebrated World Pharmacist Day with a resounding commitment to healthcare and pharmaceutical education. This memorable day brought together the local community, students, faculty, and esteemed guests, making it a remarkable event.

Health Check-up Program:

The day began with the School of Pharmacy organizing a free health check-up program, which served as a cornerstone of our celebration. This program, conducted with meticulous care and attention, aimed to provide vital healthcare services to the community. A total of 145 individuals participated in the health check-up program, benefitting from services that included blood pressure checks, blood sugar tests, BMI assessments, and personalized counselling on medication management and healthy living.

Our dedicated pharmacy students, under the guidance of experienced faculty members, left no stone unturned in ensuring the smooth operation of the health check-up program. This initiative underscored the integral role of pharmacists in healthcare, emphasizing their accessibility and expertise in promoting community well-being.

Student-Led Program:

In the afternoon, our students took the stage in the Seminar Hall, offering a vibrant and educational program to commemorate World Pharmacist Day. The program was a blend of diverse talents and knowledge-sharing, including dance performances, a quiz competition, thought-provoking poetry recitations, and informative presentations. This variety of activities highlighted the multifaceted nature of the pharmaceutical field and the creativity of our students.

The event would not have been complete without the presence of our distinguished guests. We were honoured to have our Principal, Dr. Sanjesh Rathi, as the chief guest, and the support of our dedicated faculty members. Their presence added to the significance of the occasion and inspired both students and attendees.

The Keynote Address:

Dr. Sanjesh Rathi, our esteemed Principal, delivered an insightful keynote address, underscoring the pivotal role of pharmacists in healthcare. His words resonated deeply with the audience as he emphasized the pharmacist's responsibility in patient care, medication management, and health advocacy. He also stressed the importance of continuous learning and innovation in the pharmaceutical field.

Unity and Knowledge Exchange:

The seminar concluded with a vibrant and interactive Q&A session, which provided a platform for students, faculty, and attendees to engage in discussions, share insights, and foster unity. The exchange of ideas and experiences highlighted the strength of our academic community and the collective determination to excel in the field of pharmacy.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Principal, Dr. Sanjesh Rathi, and all our dedicated faculty members for their unwavering support and active participation, which contributed to making this day a memorable and impactful one.
