The Student Development Program (SDP) was successfully held on October 21-22, 2024, featuring esteemed guest speaker Prof. Dr. Vishal B. Soni, Director of IPS Academy, Sanwer-2. The program commenced with a warm welcome and a sapling presentation from Dean Dr. Kiran Kumar Aggarwal, who outlined the objectives aimed at enhancing critical thinking and decision-making skills through real-world scenarios. Prof. Dr. Soni delivered engaging sessions that introduced participants to various types of case studies and their relevance to decision-making. Employing a hands-on approach, he guided students through a live case study, fostering interactive discussions and collaborative learning to strengthen their analytical and problem-solving abilities.
On the second day, Prof. Soni shared insights into case study approaches at Harvard Business School and practical tools for analyzing case studies. The sessions were designed to bridge the gap between theory and practice, preparing students to tackle complex situations with confidence. The event concluded with a summary of key takeaways and an interactive Q&A session, allowing students to deepen their understanding of the concepts discussed.
